The Irish Wildlife Trust Laois/Offaly Branch was formed in November 2013. The Branch acts to promote and celebrate the rich natural history of the counties and surrounds. We aim to host events to learn about and enjoy local habitats and species, whilst supporting the overall work of the Irish Wildlife Trust.
Events will be held throughout both counties on a regular basis. Visit our events page and follow us on Facebook to keep up-to-date. We are very much open to collaborating with existing and new interest groups, both locally and nationally, so if your group is interested in joining up on a project or event please get in touch.
Other aims include:
The branch is very much in its infancy and are very much open to new ideas for events and projects. We welcome all new members of any background who have any interest in wildlife.
We can be reached by email, on Facebook or by phone, just check out our Contact page for more details.
